Serous Surface Papillary Carcinoma
An invasive serous adenocarcinoma arising from the ovary. Cases with identical morphology have been described arising in the peritoneum, almost exclusively in women. Morphologically, it may be a well, moderately, or poorly differentiated neoplasm. It is characterized by a papillary growth pattern often associated with the presence of psammoma bodies.
